The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light. It offers versatility with different beam patterns, including long-range spotlights and ditch lights. The A-Pillar kit for the 2013+ Ford Transit is engineered for perfect, modification-free compatibility, aligning with pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version is for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog. The product features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking. The internals are potted, input wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket meets IP69K standards for weather resistance. It includes cable routing clips for clean wiring and is designed for plug-and-play installation with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses LucidShape to optimize performance around Nichia and Osram LEDs. It is available with Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Combo Beam offers a clear path with medium range, blending width and distance illumination. The HXB Combo beam is described as an excellent aid to high-performance headlights. The optional wire harness is designed with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights.
