The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light, aimed precisely where needed. This kit offers versatility for various driving conditions, from long-range spotlights for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. The A-Pillar kit has been extensively tested on the 2021+ Bronco Sport to ensure perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version is ideal for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration without compromising output. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. The internals are potted, and the input wiring is over-molded, with the main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light utilizes LucidShape for optimized performance around Nichia and Osram LEDs, with optics produced to world-class standards. Thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, offering a very wide beam to improve visibility to the sides of the road. It has superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare for oncoming traffic and is verified compliant with the latest SAE F regulation for use as a street-legal fog light when mounted in the fog light position and aimed appropriately. The optional wire harness is designed with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from other brands such as Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.
