The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides a versatile lighting solution, offering both long-range spot-lights and ditch lights to illuminate the sides of the road. This A-pillar kit is engineered for perfect compatibility with the 2015+ GMC Canyon, ensuring a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability and weather resistance. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for superior penetration through atmospheric particles. The lights feature a copper DTP PCB for maximum heat transfer to an optimized radiator, and the cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket ensure IP69K weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips for clean wiring management and is compatible with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness for easy plug-and-play installation. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod lights are designed using LucidShape to optimize performance with modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. The NCS Combo Beam provides a clear path with medium-range illumination, blending width and distance for improved visibility. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are verified compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights when aimed at -4 degrees. Optional blackout covers are available to comply with local regulations requiring auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
