The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution, providing either long-range spotlights or ditch lights. This kit, specifically designed for the 2015-2020 GMC Yukon, ensures precise fitment and a modification-free installation utilizing existing mounting points. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output variant is suitable for general visibility, while the yellow-output version, featuring Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, offers enhanced performance in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog.

The 4Banger incorporates a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for efficient heat dissipation, with a thermally optimized radiator. The cast aluminum housing is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. Its potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket meet IP69K standards for weather resistance. Integrated cable management features simplify wiring.

The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light leverages LucidShape for optimized performance with advanced Nichia and Osram LEDs. The optics are manufactured to global standards, and thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. Available beam patterns include Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo. The NCS Combo Beam offers a balanced blend of width and distance, making it an effective auxiliary light.

An optional wire harness is available, featuring a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, dual-sealed DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When correctly aimed, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with SAE F regulations for street-legal fog lights (with a -4 degree aim). Optional Blackout Covers are offered for locales requiring auxiliary lights to be covered during daily driving.
