The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a ditch light kit designed to provide auxiliary lighting. It features high-performance 4Banger LED pods with an NCS White Flood Beam pattern, ideal for low-speed driving, rock crawling, backup lights, or illuminating campgrounds. The flood optics provide wide ambient light coverage without projecting far into the distance. The kit includes application-specific brackets made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability and a modification-free installation. The lights utilize Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog. Key features for reliability include a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat management, a cast aluminum shell, potted internals, and over-molded input wiring designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. The system operates on 9-18V DC, consumes 15.6W of power, and has a peak luminosity of 1,350lm (raw) and a peak intensity of 860 Cd.
