The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides auxiliary lighting with a focus on adjustability and performance. This kit features high-performance 4Banger LED pods with an HXB Spot beam pattern, designed to illuminate far into the distance (up to 800 meters). The included brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The light itself boasts a cast aluminum shell and copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to optimize heat transfer. The internals are potted, and the input wiring is over-molded, with a main gasket meeting IP69K weather resistance standards. Installation is designed to be modification-free, utilizing existing mounting points on the vehicle. The kit also incorporates cable routing clips for a clean wire management. The wiring harness is robust, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets offer versatility, being compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. The Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams when properly aimed, and the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are SAE F compliant for street-legal fog lights when aimed at a standard -4 degrees. Optional blackout covers are available for compliance with local regulations.
