The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides additional light precisely where needed. It offers versatility with various beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo). The kit is engineered for perfect, modification-free fitment on 2009-2018 Dodge Ram models. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder coated for durability. The yellow-output version utilizes Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The 4Banger features a copper DTP PCB for maximizing heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell, and potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. The wiring includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for a clean install with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is optimized for modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics produced to world-class standards and thermal dynamics optimized using SolidWorks. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle and improves side visibility, with superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare. It can meet SAE standards for on-road use as a fog light when properly mounted and aimed. The optional wire harness is designed with proprietary components for reliability, including a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, and stainless steel terminals. The A-pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the Wide beam model complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps.
