Overview

The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides additional light. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with HXB Yellow Wide Beam pattern and brackets for a modification-free installation on specified Silverado models. Brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated. Yellow output is designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs. Pods are built for reliability with a copper DTP PCB and optimized heat transfer. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated. Internals, wiring, and gasket are designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. Wiring includes cable routing clips and a switched relay wire harness. The 4Banger LED pods utilize LucidShape for optimized performance with Nichia and Osram LEDs. The HXB Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle with dual-axis control for width and active hotspot control. A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. The Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for use in fog lamps when aimed properly.
