The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides auxiliary lighting for the 2009-2018 Dodge Ram. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a spot beam pattern, designed to illuminate up to 800 meters. The laser-cut 304 stainless steel brackets are electroplated and powder-coated for durability and ensure a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version is optimized for rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration without compromising output. The product features a copper DTP PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking, and potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. It also includes cable routing clips for clean wiring. The kit is compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. The Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams when aimed properly, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Optional Blackout Covers are available for street legality in certain localities.
