The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed for off-road use, offering both long-range spot lighting and wide ditch lighting. The kit is engineered for a modification-free installation on 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 models, utilizing existing mounting points. It includes 4Banger LED pods with a white HXB combo beam pattern, and robust brackets crafted from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, which are electroplated and powder-coated for superior durability. The system features a switched wire harness for proper power management. Internal components, wiring, and gaskets meet IP69K standards, ensuring excellent weather resistance. The 4Banger LED pods incorporate a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for optimal heat dissipation, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking. The HXB Combo beam provides a balanced blend of width and distance illumination. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When properly aimed, the Spot and Combo beams adhere to SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamp use.
