The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide versatile auxiliary lighting. It allows users to select from different high-performance 4Banger LED pods with choices of beam patterns (Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo). The kit includes brackets for a modification-free installation, utilizing pre-existing mounting points on the truck. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The product offers both white and yellow output versions, with the yellow-output version utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal performance in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog. The 4Banger LED pods are engineered for reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking. The internals are potted, and the input wiring is over-molded, with the main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The kit includes integrated cable routing clips for clean wiring.
