The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides increased light output, aimed precisely where needed. It offers versatility for long-range spot-lighting or ditch lighting. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods (available in various beam patterns), installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 02-09 Lexus GX is designed for perfect, modification-free compatibility using pre-existing mounting points. The laser-cut 304 stainless steel brackets are electroplated and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat transfer to the radiator, and a cast aluminum shell with electroplating and powder coating for resistance against flaking. Potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. It also includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics produced to world-class standards and optimized thermal dynamics. It's available with Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The optional wire harness is designed for quality with a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance in localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
