The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile ditch light kit for the 2023+ Ford Super Duty, providing a solution for additional lighting aimed where desired. It offers various beam patterns: Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Engineered Fitment: Designed for perfect, modification-free compatibility with 2023+ Ford Super Duty, aligning with pre-existing mounting points. Durable Construction: Brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and powder-coated for strength. Weather Resistance: Available in white or yellow output. Yellow output uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog. The lights are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance, with potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket. Thermal Management: Features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB and an optimized radiator for heat transfer. Wiring & Cable Management: Includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem and a plug-and-play switched relay wire harness. Performance Optics: Patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light elements are proprietary, using modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, optimized with LucidShape. HXB Combo Beam: Blend of width and distance, 8H x 4V oval hot spot with 10V degree spread. HXB Spot Beam: Long-range illumination (up to 800 meters) with powerful Osram LEDs. HXB Wide Beam: Illuminates the ground directly in front, dual-axis control for width and hotspot, SAE-Compliant fog light. NCS Combo Beam: Similar to HXB Combo, clear path with medium range. NCS Spot Beam: Highly focused 5-degree hot spot with 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. NCS Wide Beam: Wide beam for improved visibility off to the sides, superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare, SAE F photometric standards compliant for street-legal fog light use. Wiring Harness: Proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, M-Spec push button switch with Yellow-LED backlight. Compatibility: A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from Morimoto and other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. Street Legality: When aimed properly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beam. NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Optional blackout covers are available for compliance in localities that require auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
