The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides enhanced lighting with versatile beam patterns for various driving needs, from long-range spotlights to ditch lights. This kit is specifically engineered for the 2023+ Ford Super Duty, ensuring a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version offers all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version (Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs) is available for optimal performance in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog. The product emphasizes reliability with features like a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat dissipation, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking, and potted internals designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. Integrated cable routing clips on the bracket stem ensure clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod lights utilize LucidShape technology with modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, offering Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle and provides wide-angle visibility, complying with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights when properly aimed. The optional wiring harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed correctly, the Spot and Combo beams meet SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance in localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered during everyday driving.
