The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide auxiliary lighting with versatility, offering options for long-range spot-lights or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. This A-Pillar kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods in a yellow flood beam pattern, along with brackets for easy installation and a switched wire harness. The kit for the 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne has been engineered for perfect compatibility, ensuring a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version is specifically designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective light penetration without compromising output. The product is built for reliability, featuring a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat transfer and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. The internals are potted, input wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket meets IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The wiring system includes cable routing clips for a clean install with a plug-and-play switched relay wire harness. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light features proprietary elements, with optics optimized using LucidShape and thermal dynamics optimized with SolidWorks. The flood beam pattern provides ambient light with wide coverage, suitable for low-speed driving or illuminating campgrounds. The optional wire harness includes a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. Optional blackout covers are available for street legality.
