The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed for enhanced illumination, providing precisely aimed light for various driving conditions, from long-range spot-lights to ditch lights. This kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a chosen beam pattern, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Engineered for the 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne, the A-Pillar kit ensures perfect compatibility with existing mounting points, allowing for a modification-free installation. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for exceptional durability. The white-output version is ideal for general visibility. The product features a copper Direct Thermal Path (DTP) PCB for optimal heat transfer, meticulously optimized through thermal analysis. Its cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. Potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and the main gasket are all designed to meet IP69K standards, ensuring full weather resistance. Integrated cable routing clips on the bracket stem facilitate a clean wiring setup. The 4Banger LED pods leverage LucidShape technology for optimized performance with advanced, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, and the optics adhere to world-class standards. The NCS Wide Beam option projects light directly in front of the vehicle, providing a very broad beam for significantly improved side visibility. Its superior vertical gradient control effectively eliminates glare for oncoming traffic. When correctly mounted in the fog light position and aimed, the beam pattern produced by both the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models meets SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. The optional wire harness is built with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight.
