The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide more light, aimed precisely. It offers versatility, from long-range spotlights for high-speed driving to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. This A-Pillar kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods with a choice of beam pattern, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Engineered Fitment: Morimoto's A-Pillar kit for the 2013+ Ford Transit has been extensively tested on the truck to ensure perfect compatibility. It aligns with pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. Durability: Each bracket is laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and then powder-coated for extreme durability. Weather Resistance: The yellow-output version is optimized for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration through atmospheric atmospheric particles without compromising output. The product features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to the radiator, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. The internals are potted, wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket is designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Wiring & Cable Management: The kit incorporates mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem to direct wiring from the LED pods into the engine bay, allowing for a clean and reliable plug-and-play installation with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. Performance: Every element of the patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light is proprietary. LucidShape was used for optical optimization with lumen-dense Nichia and Osram LEDs. Optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics are optimized using SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available in Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. NCS Combo Beam: This beam pattern illuminates a clear path with medium range, providing a blend of width and distance illumination. The 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at beam center is tuned for an ideal flood beam, making it an excellent aid to high-performance headlights. Power Up: The optional wire harness is designed with high-quality components, including a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay with hanger, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. Compatibility (General): While designed for 4Banger LED pods, the A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. Street Legality: When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. The NCS and HXB Wide Beam models, with a standard -4 degree aim, comply with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Optional Blackout Covers are available for localities that require auxiliary lights to be covered.
