This A-pillar LED system offers versatility with various beam patterns for different needs, from long-range spotlights to ditch lights for illuminating the side of the road. The kit for the 2014-2021 Toyota Tundra has been extensively tested to ensure perfect compatibility and alignment with pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version, which uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, is designed for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, penetrating through particles in the air without compromising output. The LED pods feature a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. The internals, wiring, and main gasket are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The 4Banger LED pods utilize LucidShape for optimized performance around modern Nichia and Osram LEDs, and thermal dynamics have been optimized using SolidWorks. The NCS Spot Beam offers a highly focused 5-degree hotspot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from other brands, including Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for fog lamps.
