The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner, offering a versatile lighting solution. The kit includes laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated brackets for a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. It's designed for all-weather reliability, with yellow-output Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated. The internals are potted, wiring over-molded, and gaskets designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. It includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics optimized using LucidShape and thermal dynamics using SolidWorks. The NCS Spot Beam provides a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. The kit is compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 for auxiliary high beams, and the Wide beam complies with SAE J583 for fog lamps.
