The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional lighting, offering versatility with various beam patterns. It is engineered for a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The kit includes 4Banger LED pods and a switched wire harness. The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version uses Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The 4Banger LED pods feature a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB and optimized heat transfer for reliability. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated, and the internals are potted and over-molded for weather resistance (IP69K standards). The wiring harness includes a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle, providing a very wide beam to improve side visibility and has superior vertical gradient control to eliminate glare. When mounted in the fog light position and aimed appropriately, the NCS Wide Beam models comply with SAE F regulation for use as a street-legal fog light. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beam. Optional blackout covers are available for compliance in localities that require auxiliary lights to be covered.
