The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed for enhanced light output. It's suitable for various driving conditions, providing options from long-range spotlights to ditch lights. This specific A-Pillar kit is engineered for the 2015+ GMC Canyon, ensuring perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using existing mounting points. The brackets are constructed from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for exceptional durability. The yellow-output version features Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, which are optimized for superior penetration in adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, or fog without compromising light output. The 4Banger incorporates a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to the radiator, and its cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking. The internal components are potted, input wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket adheres to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. For clean wiring, cable routing clips are integrated into the bracket stem. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light utilizes LucidShape technology to optimize performance around high-quality Nichia LEDs. The optics are produced to world-class standards, and thermal dynamics have been optimized using SolidWorks. The 4Banger offers four industry-leading beam patterns: SAE Wide, Combo, Spot, and Flood. The Flood Beam is ideal for providing extensive ambient light and broad coverage for low-speed driving or illuminating campgrounds. An optional wire harness is available, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, an over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. Additionally, optional Blackout Covers are available to ensure street legality in certain areas.
