The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides more light aimed precisely. It offers versatility for long-range spot-lights or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. It includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Specifically designed for the 2003-2010 Cayenne, ensuring perfect compatibility and a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. Brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, then powder-coated. White-output is for all-around visibility. Yellow-output (Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs) is for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. Designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance, with potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket. Features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximizing heat transfer to the radiator, optimized through thermal analysis. Cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. Incorporates mounting locations and cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean routing into the engine bay, compatible with Morimoto's switched relay wire harness. Patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light. Uses LucidShape to optimize performance around Nichia LEDs. Optics are world-class. Thermal dynamics optimized with SolidWorks. The 4Banger is available with four industry-leading beam patterns to suit every need: SAE Wide, Combo, Spot, and Flood. Flood Beam provides ambient light with wide coverage, suitable for low-speed driving or illuminating campgrounds. It does not project far but illuminates the local area around the vehicle. Optional wire harness with triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance in localities requiring auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
