The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide auxiliary lighting with versatile beam patterns for off-road use. It's an engineered kit for the Jeep Gladiator JT, ensuring a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while a yellow-output version is available for optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs. The pods feature a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for heat dissipation, a cast aluminum shell, potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips for clean wiring. The 4Banger LED pods utilize modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics optimized using LucidShape. This specific kit features a NCS Wide Beam pattern, which illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle and drastically improves side visibility. When properly aimed, the NCS Wide Beam models are compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog light use. The superior A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics.
