The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is a versatile lighting solution designed for the Jeep Wrangler JK. It offers increased light output precisely where needed, with options for long-range spot-lights or ditch lights. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for a modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version, featuring Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, is optimized for superior output in rain, snow, or fog, effectively penetrating atmospheric particles. The 4Banger pods incorporate a copper DTP PCB and an optimized radiator for heat dissipation, along with potted internals and IP69K-rated sealing for weather resistance. The wiring harness is designed for a clean and reliable install with features like a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light utilizes LucidShape for optical optimization around Nichia and Osram LEDs, and SolidWorks for thermal dynamics. It is available with Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Wide Beam is suitable as a complement to headlights, providing a very wide beam and superior vertical gradient control to prevent glare to oncoming traffic. It is verified compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog light use. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands. The Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams. Optional blackout covers are available for compliance with local regulations requiring auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
