The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version is ideal for optimal output in rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration through atmospheric particles without compromising output. The product prioritizes reliability with a copper DTP PCB for maximized heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to prevent flaking, and potted internals with over-molded input wiring and a main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. It features integrated mounting locations and cable routing clips for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses LucidShape for optimized performance around Nichia and Osram LEDs, with optics produced to world-class standards and thermal dynamics optimized using SolidWorks. The NCS Spot Beam provides a highly focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. The optional wire harness is designed for quality, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with an amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands like Baja Designs, KC Hi-Lites, Rigid Industries, and Diode Dynamics. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for an auxiliary high beam, and the Wide beam model is compliant with SAE J583 for use in fog lamps.
