The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide additional light precisely where needed. This kit offers versatility with various high-performance 4Banger LED pods in a choice of beam patterns, accompanied by brackets for easy installation and a switched wire harness for proper power. The A-Pillar kit for the Wrangler JL has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing to ensure perfect compatibility, utilizing pre-existing mounting points for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version is optimized for rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration through particles in the air without compromising output. The 4Banger features a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximizing heat transfer, and a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking. The internals are potted, input wiring is over-molded, and the main gasket meets IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light features optics optimized using LucidShape and Nichia and Osram LEDs. It is available with Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Wide Beam illuminates the ground directly in front of the vehicle and off to the sides, designed to reduce glare to oncoming traffic and meet SAE standards for on-road fog light use when properly aimed. The optional wire harness includes a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, and a proprietary M-Spec push button switch.
