The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system is designed for enhanced lighting, providing targeted illumination. It offers versatility with various beam patterns, including Drift lights for side-of-the-road visibility and long-range spot-lights for high-speed driving. The A-Pillar kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, vehicle-specific brackets for easy installation, and a switched wire harness for proper power. The kit for the 2015-2023 Dodge Charger ensures perfect compatibility with existing mounting points, making installation modification-free. The brackets are made from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The yellow-output version is optimized for rain, snow, or fog, using Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for effective penetration without compromising output. The 4Banger is built for reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer, optimized through thermal analysis. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated for flaking resistance. Potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket ensure IP69K weather resistance. The design includes cable routing clips on the bracket stem for clean wiring. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses LucidShape for optimized performance with modern Nichia and Osram LEDs. The HXB Combo Beam provides a blend of width and distance, with an 8H x 4V oval hot spot and a 10V degree spread, ideal as an aid to high-performance headlights. The optional wire harness features a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with LED pods from most other brands. When aimed properly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beam, and NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance in localities that require auxiliary lights to be covered.
