The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides enhanced lighting, aiming light precisely where needed. This A-Pillar kit offers versatility with various beam patterns, including long-range spot-lights and Drift lights for side illumination. It includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness. Engineered specifically for the 2008-2023 Dodge Challenger, the A-Pillar kit ensures perfect compatibility with pre-existing mounting points, allowing for a modification-free installation. Brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version, featuring Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, offers optimal performance in rain, snow, or fog by penetrating air particles without compromising output. Reliability is a key focus; the 4Banger utilizes a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB to maximize heat transfer to an optimized radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated and powder-coated to resist flaking. Potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and a main gasket are designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. Cable management features mounting locations and routing clips on the bracket stem. The patent-pending 4Banger LED pod light uses modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram, with optics produced to world-class standards and thermal dynamics optimized using SolidWorks. Available in Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Spot Beam provides a focused 5-degree hot spot surrounded by a 14H x 4C degree flood beam for long-range visibility. The optional wire harness is designed for high performance and reliability, featuring a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with a 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are also compatible with LED pods from other brands. When aimed correctly, Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and NCS and HXB Wide Beam models are compliant with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights with a standard -4 degree aim. Optional Blackout Covers are available for compliance with local regulations requiring auxiliary lights to be covered.
