The Morimoto 4Banger A-Pillar LED system provides a versatile lighting solution with options for long-range spot-lights or ditch lights to illuminate the side of the road. The kit includes high-performance 4Banger LED pods, installation brackets, and a switched wire harness for a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser-cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability. The white-output version is suitable for all-around visibility, while the yellow-output version, featuring Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs, offers optimal output in rain, snow, or fog. The 4Banger is designed for reliability with a copper DTP PCB for maximum heat transfer, a cast aluminum shell that is electroplated and powder-coated, and potted internals with over-molded input wiring and gaskets for IP69K weather resistance. The kit includes cable routing clips for a clean installation. The 4Banger LED pods feature proprietary design elements, utilizing LucidShape for optimized performance with Nichia and Osram LEDs, world-class optics, and SolidWorks-optimized thermal dynamics. It is available with Wide/Fog, Spot, and Combo beam patterns. The NCS Combo Beam provides a clear path with medium range, offering a blend of width and distance illumination for comfortable driving. The HXB Combo beam has an 8H x 4V oval hot spot with a 10V degree spread at beam center. The optional wire harness is designed for quality and reliability, featuring a triple-sealed proprietary 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder with 20A mini fuse, DT06-2S female outputs with dual seals, stainless steel power and ground terminals, and a proprietary M-Spec push-button switch with amber-LED backlight. The A-Pillar brackets are compatible with 4Banger LED pods and most other brands. When aimed properly, the Spot and Combo beams comply with SAE J581 standards for auxiliary high beams, and the NCS and HXB Wide Beam models comply with SAE F regulation for street-legal fog lights with a standard -4 degree aim. Optional Blackout Covers are available for localities that require auxiliary lights to be covered for everyday driving.
