The Morimoto Drift Light system is a bolt-on solution to boost light output for sports cars in the dark. Designed for the 2012-2020 FR-S, BRZ, and GT86, this kit offers modification-free installation using pre-existing mounting points under the hood. The brackets are laser cut from 304 stainless steel, electroplated, and powder-coated for durability and off-road toughness. Available in white or yellow output, the yellow version utilizes Phosphor-Converted Yellow LEDs for optimal penetration in rain, snow, or fog without compromising output. The 4Banger LED pods feature a copper DTP PCB for maximized heat transfer, cast aluminum shell, potted internals, over-molded input wiring, and main gasket designed to IP69K standards for full weather resistance. The system includes integrated cable routing clips for a clean installation with the Morimoto switched relay wire harness. The patented LED pods utilize LucidShape for optimized performance around modern, lumen-dense LEDs from Nichia and Osram. Available beam patterns include Wide/Fog, Spot, Combo, Flood, and Trail. The Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance, the Spot beam offers long-range illumination, the SAE Wide beam is compliant for street-legal fog light use, and the Flood beam provides broad output for immediate areas. The optional wire harness features a triple-sealed 4-pin relay, over-molded inline fuse holder, DT06-2S female outputs, stainless steel terminals, and an M-Spec push-button switch.
