The Morimoto BigBanger A-Pillar LED system is designed to provide enhanced lighting precisely where it's needed, whether for long-range spot-lighting during high-speed driving or ditch lighting to illuminate the side of the road. This A-Pillar kit for the 2020+ Silverado HD has undergone extensive design, prototyping, and testing on the actual truck to ensure perfect compatibility. It utilizes pre-existing mounting points, guaranteeing a modification-free installation. The brackets are laser cut from durable 304 stainless steel and finished with a powder coating. The BigBanger offers versatility with two performance tiers, two beam patterns (spot or combo), and two color outputs (white or yellow). The HXB Spot Beam is a powerful solution for fast-paced night driving, capable of penetrating up to 800 meters. The HXB Combo Beam provides a balanced blend of width and distance illumination. For long-range visibility, the NCS Spot Beam delivers a highly focused beam, while the NCS Combo Beam offers comprehensive all-around visibility. All BigBanger Pods come standard with an Amber Back Light. An optional wire harness is available to easily control the pods and their dual-intensity backlight. The yellow-output version is specifically designed for optimal performance in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, or fog, utilizing Phosphor-converted Yellow LEDs for superior light penetration. The product is engineered for reliability with a copper DTP (direct thermal path) PCB for maximum heat transfer to an optimized radiator. The cast aluminum shell is electroplated before powder coating to resist flaking. The gasket system, integrated DT power connection, and breather valves are all designed to meet IP69K standards for full weather resistance.
