Moroso Chevrolet Small Block Timing Cover Magneto Kit - Non-Raised Cam - Sprint Car

Moroso developed this Magneto re-location kit to address issues with standard rear-mounted magnetos, such as unstable timing, flex, shaft/drive gear failure, and difficult in-car timing adjustments. The Front Magneto Drive Assembly works with standard Shaver - Wesmar gear drive assemblies, Moroso cam-driven dry sump pumps (and other oil pumps), and commonly used crank-driven water pumps. It's designed for use with MSD 12 LT Generator or MSD Part No. 7904 Generator Kit and is legal for most racing organizations. Benefits include increased timing accuracy, elimination of costly crank trigger systems, improved magneto access for timing adjustments, and increased engine rear area for induction system improvements.
