The Moroso 20145 is a dedicated rear sump oil pan tailored for GM LS Series engine conversions. With a 5-quart wet sump capacity, this pan is 6 inches deep, 8.5 inches wide, and 8.375 inches long, offering crucial clearance for crankshafts up to a 4.25-inch stroke when paired with most steel rods. Its fabricated steel construction, finished with a black powder coat, provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, essential for both street and track environments.

Key to its performance is the internal oil control system, featuring a trap door and a rear anti-climb baffle that effectively manage oil movement under aggressive acceleration and cornering, preventing oil starvation. The integrated billet aluminum spin-on oil filter adapter (22mm thread) allows for the use of a Moroso 22463 or stock OEM oil filter directly on the pan, eliminating the need for complex remote filter setups.
