The Moroso air-oil separator/catch can system is designed for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engines with stock air cleaners. It maintains full functionality of the cylinder head breather system by filtering out crankcase vapors, oil mist, and condensation that typically vent into the intake system. This process helps to keep the air filter, throttle body, intake, pistons, and valves free of excessive oil and carbon buildup. Unlike systems that vent to the atmosphere, the Moroso system recirculates clean, filtered air back into the intake, collecting the separated contaminants in the catch can. The two-piece body unscrews for easy cleaning and service, which can be done during oil changes and normal service intervals. This system reduces detonation, knock, and helps prevent deposits in the intake tract, including valves and pistons, without venting oil onto the bike or the ground.
