The MoTeC Lambda to CAN Dual Long (LTC-D) is a module designed to monitor Bosch LSU 4.9 Lambda sensors. It transmits readings over a CAN bus, allowing for simultaneous monitoring of up to 32 Lambda sensors when multiple modules are used. This device is compatible with Bosch LSU 4.9, 5-wire sensors and operates on a power supply voltage of 11 V – 16 V.

The MoTeC LTC-D (Lambda to CAN Dual) module is engineered to interface with Bosch LSU 4.9 Lambda sensors, providing essential data transmission over a CAN bus. This allows for sophisticated engine management and diagnostics by enabling an ECU or logging device to simultaneously monitor numerous Lambda sensors. When utilizing multiple LTC-D units, the system can support up to 32 Lambda sensors on a single CAN bus. Key specifications for the LTC-D module include compatibility with Bosch LSU 4.9, 5-wire Lambda sensors. It operates within a power supply voltage range of 11 V to 16 V, drawing approximately 110 mA typical current, plus the sensor heater current which can range from 0.5 A to 2 A on startup. Communication is facilitated via a 1 Mbit/sec CAN interface. Connectivity is managed through a 4-pin male DTM connector for power and CAN, along with two mating connectors specifically for the Bosch LSU 4.9 sensors. Physically, the module measures 38 x 26 x 23.5 mm (excluding wiring looms and connectors) and weighs 100 grams. It is designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 100 °C.
