Our Updated (January 2025) Gen-2 kit includes a redesigned heavy-duty removable transmission cross member, a 3/16\" thick skid plate, and a new rear frame cross member that doubles as a skid mounting system and a crucial structural member for the rear 4 link bracketry. Precision and Compatibility: All link mounting points feature 5/8” holes through 1/4” thick steel plates, which can be drilled out for larger diameters if necessary. The inside mounting distance measures 2-5/8\" to a variety of high-quality joints with high misalignment spacers. This flexibility allows for exceptional suspension travel, easy clearance for engine oil pans, aftermarket engines, transfer cases, and driveshafts. The rear is a true double triangulated 4 link that eliminates the need for a rear track bar. The kit includes a removable one-piece heavy-duty steel skid plate designed for a snug fit around the front and rear cross members, with countersunk fasteners to create a smooth bottom that avoids hang-ups on obstacles. Note that modifications to the factory exhaust will be required to accommodate the new suspension layout.
