The Motobilt MB1554 Rear Coilover Mounts for Jeep JKU replaces the factory rear shock layout and crossmember with fabricated steel shock towers tied together with a 1/4 inch steel crossmember. This allows for proper shock placement and supports real shock length for improved suspension travel and control. It works with 14-inch or 16-inch coilovers or ORI struts when mounted on top of the axle. This system is compatible with Motobilt rear-mounted fuel cell or factory fuel tank and works with standard Jeep JK 3-link rear suspension setups. It also features pass-throughs for clean wiring and fuel management. Cutting and welding are required for installation, but the design is builder-friendly with detailed instructions included.
