Motor Mount

The 034Motorsport Density Line Motor Mounts are engineered to be a direct replacement for factory engine mounts in various Audi and Volkswagen models, offering a significant upgrade in performance and durability. These mounts are constructed from high-durometer rubber, available in two densities: Street and Track. The Street Density mounts use 50 durometer rubber, approximately 10% stiffer than stock, resulting in a 25% stiffer mount overall when solid-filled and void-free. This reduces drivetrain slop and wheel hop with minimal NVH increase. For a more aggressive setup, the Track Density mounts utilize 80 durometer rubber, around 90% stiffer than stock, leading to a mount that is approximately 120% stiffer. These provide a locked-down drivetrain and solid shifting but will cause a noticeable increase in cabin noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). The mounts are sold individually, with each vehicle requiring two. Special consideration is noted for B7 Audi A4 models (2005-2008) with Tiptronic transmissions and active mounts. These vehicles require two of 034Motorsport's Resistor Bypasses to prevent the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) from illuminating after installation. The nuts for these mounts should be torqued to the factory specification of 25 Nm (approximately 18.5 ft-lbs) to avoid damage.
