The Ford Racing 6R3Z-6038-A is a genuine Ford motor mount, engineered to serve as a direct replacement for your 2005-2010 Ford Mustang. This insulator assembly, also referred to as an engine mount or motor and transmission mount, is crucial for locating and supporting the engine while also reducing vibrations. It replaces the older part number 4R3Z-6038-DA and comes with Ford's factory warranty for assurance. This motor mount is designed to fit a range of 2005-2010 Ford Mustang models equipped with either the 6-Cyl 4.0L SOHC EFI or the 8-Cyl 4.6L SOHC EFI engines. It is compatible with vehicles featuring 5-Speed Automatic Transmissions (5R55S), 5-Speed Manual Transmissions (T5OD, TR3650), and 6-Speed Manual Transmissions (T56). The fitment also specifies Left Hand Drive and Rear-Wheel Drive configurations. Two of these mounts are required per vehicle. Installation involves removing the nuts attaching the mount to the crossmember and subsequently removing the mount itself. For vehicles where applicable, the accessory bracket bolt should be removed from the front of the left cylinder head. This part includes a plastic cover on the bottom, as confirmed by customer Q&A. Each motor mount is sold individually.
