Description

The Trans-Dapt 9716K motor mount plates are engineered for a specific engine swap application: fitting Ford Small Block 260-289-302W engines into 2WD Ford Ranger and Explorer models. Constructed with frame mount plates and finished with a temporary black shipping paint, these mounts include the necessary bracket and mounting hardware for installation. However, it's important to note that welding is required to install this kit, and additional Ford parts may be needed to complete the engine swap. The product details also mention that relocation of the oil filter is necessary for this application. For optimal header fitment, Hedman Hedders part numbers 89500, 89506, or 89508 are recommended.
