The Megan Racing Motor Mounts (MRS-MZ-0740) are designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory mounts in 1990-2005 Mazda Miata NA and NB models, including both 1.6L and 1.8L engines. These mounts are constructed from hardened, reinforced rubber with a 70A durometer rating, offering a firmer upgrade over stock without being excessively harsh for street use. By limiting the engine's tendency to move and flex under acceleration, braking, and aggressive shifting, these Megan Racing motor mounts allow for more efficient transfer of power and torque to the wheels. This reduction in engine movement can also help prevent missed shifts and mitigate issues like second-gear lockout, which are common in high-mileage NA/NB Miatas. The set includes both left and right mounts for a complete replacement. These mounts are an ideal upgrade for modified vehicles seeking enhanced performance and a more connected driving experience.
