The Motorcraft Fuel Filter FG-1036, also known as a Motorcraft™ Fuel Pump Filter or Filter Assembly Fuel, is engineered to deliver the original equipment (OE) fit and function for a range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. By filtering debris and contaminants from the fuel system, this part helps prevent potential engine failure, stalling, and poor starting. This fuel filter is recommended for specific Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models. Examples of compatible vehicles include the 2002-2011 Ford Ranger (2.3L L4 and 4.0L V6 engines), 2009 Ford Expedition (5.4L V8 Flex), 2009 Ford Focus (2.0L L4 Gas), and 2008-2009 Lincoln Navigator (5.4L V8 Flex). It is also compatible with various years and trims of the Ford Explorer, Freestar, and Mercury Monterey, among others. Motorcraft filters are the only filters recommended by Ford for their vehicles, aiming to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
