The Rick's Motorsport Electrics Hot Shot™ Rectifier Regulator (10-418H) offers a reliable and cost-effective replacement for your vehicle's charging system. Built to OEM specifications, this rectifier regulator is constructed from high-grade materials and undergoes performance testing to ensure optimal functionality and maximum reliability. This product is the regulator only; the rectifier component must be purchased separately. Before installation, it is critical to check the rotor's OHMs reading, which must be between 3.5 and 4.5 OHMs. Failure to meet this resistance requirement will result in component failure and void the warranty. The universal style rectifier-regulator comes with wire leads, meaning you will need to reuse your existing plug ends or hardwire the unit. Installation instructions are included. Additionally, essential pre-installation checks for the stator's AC output and grounding, as well as for any burned or corroded connectors and melted wiring, are recommended. Use of hi-Temp Dielectric grease on all connectors is also advised. Rick's Motorsport Electrics provides a one-year replacement warranty on most products, excluding CDI boxes. This warranty requires parts to be returned for inspection and testing before replacements are issued. The brand is not responsible for other damages or labor reimbursements.
