The Damond Motorsports ST Manifold Port Injection Adapter Kit enables the adaptation of the factory Ford Focus ST intake manifold to the Mazdaspeed DISI head, facilitating individual port fuel injection. This system leverages the well-regarded airflow characteristics of the ST manifold, known for its consistent and robust flow at a low cost. Extensive testing on street, track, and dyno has validated its effectiveness in distributing airflow more evenly to cylinders and enabling auxiliary fueling capabilities. The kit includes a specific adapter, fuel rail, and adjustable rail brackets compatible with 34mm or 48mm injectors, featuring a 14mm injector bore and -6AN o-ring fittings. A vacuum block with necessary fittings and hoses for integration with factory vacuum lines is also provided, along with a pre-assembled PCV connection and a dipstick mounting bracket. Hardware for mounting and securing components is included. Optional items available include a pre-wired throttle body extension harness, necessary due to the ST manifold's throttle body orientation, and a modified ST manifold that has been trimmed for clearance. The kit requires disabling VTCS to prevent check engine lights and necessitates an EGR block-off. An FMIC is also a requirement, with under-route hot pipe kits being the preferred option. Note that injectors, fuel lines, fittings, and controllers are not included.
