The Maximum Motorsports MMST-7 Solid Steering Rack Bushings are engineered to enhance steering precision and response on 1985-2004 Ford Mustangs equipped with the stock K-member. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum alloy, these bushings offer a significant upgrade over the stock rubber components, effectively eliminating unwanted flex and play in the steering rack. By replacing the factory rubber or worn bushings, the MMST-7 kit provides a more solid connection between the steering rack and the chassis. This results in a crisper, more direct steering feel, allowing drivers to better sense the road and make more immediate inputs. The solid design prevents the twisting and binding often associated with inadequate bushing materials, ensuring consistent performance. Each kit includes inner and outer bushings, along with necessary washers, to facilitate a complete replacement of the stock steering rack bushings.
