The Motul 8100 Series is a 100% synthetic engine oil designed for modern gasoline and diesel engines. It features synthetic base stocks and friction modifiers to create a robust oil film, reducing engine friction, maintaining oil pressure, and lowering operating temperatures. This formulation offers excellent wear resistance, high-temperature stability, and controlled oil consumption. It also provides anti-oxidation, anti-wear, anti-corrosion, and anti-foam properties.

This specific product is the 5W40 X-CESS GEN2 variant, meeting API Service SN and ACEA A3/B4 standards. It comes in a 20-liter jug and is manufactured in France. The oil is black in color.
