The Snow Performance 45005 MPG-MAX™ VW TDi water/methanol injection system is engineered to deliver both increased power and improved fuel economy for your 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines. Its advanced injection management controller allows for a precise, small spray of water/methanol across the entire power band, optimizing combustion efficiency. This means more power is generated without the need to inject additional diesel fuel, directly translating into better MPG. Beyond efficiency, the MPG-MAX™ system includes a 'Power Mode' activated by a secondary output. This feature introduces a larger injection of fluid when maximum power is required, with an adjustable activation point for tailored performance. The system is paired with a 2.5-gallon trunk mount reservoir, providing ample fluid capacity for extended use and including all necessary installation hardware for a complete package. Key features of this advanced system include a dash-mounted LCD screen that displays real-time boost, exhaust gas temperatures, and injection pump output, effectively saving the cost of separate gauges. Snow Performance highlights that this system will not adversely affect the vehicle's PM filter and does not leave a computer 'signature,' thus helping to preserve the factory warranty.
