The Modern Performance MPx Big Front Mount Intercooler is a performance upgrade designed for the 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. It features a 3.5-inch thick bar and plate core with dimensions of 24 inches wide and 12 inches high. This intercooler is constructed with one-piece cast end tanks for enhanced strength compared to welded designs. It includes pre-drilled mounting brackets and factory-type inlet/outlet connections for easier installation.

The Modern Performance MPx Big Front Mount Intercooler is engineered to significantly improve cooling efficiency for the 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. Featuring a robust 3.5-inch thick bar and plate core, measuring 24 inches in width and 12 inches in height, this intercooler is capable of supporting up to 550 horsepower. Its construction utilizes one-piece cast end tanks, offering superior durability and resistance to failure compared to traditional multi-piece welded end tanks. Testing on a 2004 SRT-4 with Stage 1 modifications (intake and exhaust) showed an improvement of 11 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque over the stock intercooler. Further testing on a 2004 Dodge SRT-4 with intake, exhaust, and Stage 3 modifications (without toys) resulted in gains of 19 hp and 21 lb-ft of torque at the wheels compared to the factory unit. This upgrade is beneficial for a wide range of setups, from vehicles with basic bolt-on modifications to those with large turbochargers and built engines. It provides a substantial power gain over the OEM intercooler. The package includes 4 T-bar clamps.
