MQB 1.8T/2.0T Direct Fit Intercooler

The CTS Turbo Direct Fit Intercooler is engineered as an upgrade for MQB 1.8T/2.0T vehicles, offering a solution to combat heat soak and performance loss. Stock intercoolers can lead to reduced performance and potential timing pull due to elevated intake air temperatures (IATs). This premium intercooler upgrade serves as a direct replacement for the factory part, ensuring charged air remains cold and power delivery is consistent. The intercooler boasts a high-density bar-and-plate core with cast end tanks, designed to support up to 600 wheel horsepower. Integrated airflow directing fins within the end tanks promote even air distribution throughout the intercooler core. Its high-flow design minimizes pressure drop and allows sufficient airflow to the radiator, crucial for maintaining optimal operating temperatures. The core measures 25″x2.25″x16″, providing 900 cubic inches (14.75L) of volume, significantly larger than stock Golf R (542 cu in) and GTI (493 cu in) cores. Compatibility is extensive, covering 2015+ Audi A3/S3/TT/TT-S, 2018+ Audi SQ2, 2015+ VW Golf, Sportwagen, Alltrack, GTI, Golf R, GTI Clubsport, GTI Rabbit Edition, and ED40 models. It also fits 2019+ Jetta GLI 2.0T, 2017-2019 Passat (B8), 2018+ Tiguan (excluding 8-Speed Tiptronic transmission), 2018+ Arteon, Skoda Octavia/VRS (MK3), Seat Leon/Cupra (MK3), and Skoda Superb (B8). Note that this intercooler is not for Gen3 Jetta/Passat/Beetle non-MQB vehicles. Some 2019+ models may require the Front Collision Warning system to be adapted by VW post-installation. Additionally, it is fully compatible with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) systems.
