The Racingline VWR Cold-Air Intake System is a high-performance upgrade for MQB-platform 2.0 TDI vehicles, including the Golf 7 & 7.5 TDI/GTD, Passat B8 TDI, Arteon TDI, T-Roc TDI, Audi A3 8V TDI, TT 8S TDI, Q2 TDI, SEAT Leon III TDI, Ateca TDI, and Skoda Octavia III/vRS TDI and Superb III TDI. It also reduces turbo spool time by as much as 500rpm in some cases, ensuring a rapid and immediate throttle response. The core of the system is a giant, high-flow filter available in either unique Trifoam® or Pleated Cotton construction. Both filter types are handmade in the UK, offering exceptional filtration with minimal restriction. The Trifoam® filter provides the highest airflow for maximum power, while the Pleated Cotton filter is a robust 'fit and forget' option. The intake features a fully-enclosed design with a precisely formed front scoop for perfect fitment to the front panel, and an anodised aluminium housing for the filter. Owners can expect a rich induction sound under acceleration, though the enclosed design helps to keep volume levels well-contained. The system's efficient filtration and large surface area support higher power remaps, making it a foundational upgrade for further performance tuning.
